Switching Tabs
God bless internet. God bless browsers. And God bless for tabs in them. Its been a while since tabs have been around. I remember using that old ass internet explorer in school lab. Not much shortcuts or speedy webpage navigation, but enough for santa banta dot com (yep) .
I bought my first PC in 8th . That bull crap had 64 MB of RAM 10 GB of hard drive. Had Win 98 SE installed in that. I hadn't internet so I used it to play games and listen music. Until then, my cousin seek my help to assemble a new PC for his shop ( mobile repair and other things) , I get him a P4 256 MB 80 GB system. Now that was some Dream PC for me then. I was introduced to win XP in it. That blueish/greenly wallpaper and sweet startup sound . And If i recall correctly IE 6 had tabbed browsing.
This was the best invention of that time. Switching websites was not any mess at least not on your taskbar. From Alt+shift , i started using ctrl+ shift. You will start becoming addicted of more and more internet.
From tabs to shifting browsers also made a difference. Firefox was my favorite browser then. Private mode, download manager, good themes and plugins; yeah , that was the future.
What do you thought , i'll write a lengthy blog comparing switching concepts with philosophy of life, heh ? or how tabs will bring change in your life? pffffffff.
